Kick Your Soda Cravings in 72 Hours!

Are you addicted to soda?

I just watched a short video from Dr. Christiane Northrup who talked about a three day method to kick your soda addiction. It's so simple, I almost can't believe it! Dr. Northrup says to drink chamomile tea and lots of water throughout the day for 72 hours and that's it! Your addiction will be gone, but then you have to stay away from soda because once you drink the carbonated beverage again, your addiction will be back in a flash. I'm going to need some of you brave volunteers to verify that this works. I'd try it myself, but I've already been off sugar for years.

I was interested to learn about the benefits of chamomile and see if eliminating sugar cravings was on the list. Recent studies say chamomile tea regulates blood sugar which is great for diabetics and anyone else wishing to do the same. It also touts a whole list of other wonderful benefits with my favorite being to drink a cup of this tea to relieve excessive gas and bloating.

Hopefully, some of you will try her suggestion for 72 hours and report back. If you do this successfully and want to make it a habit to stay away from soda, try this recipe when you are craving the bubbles!

(Serves 2)
Ingredients:

• 750 ml sparkling mineral water from a glass (not plastic) bottle
• 2 Tbsp of raw/unfiltered apple cider vinegar (ACV)* (1 Tbsp split between 2 glasses)
• the juice of 1 lemon (half in each glass)

This drink is great to serve at dinner parties and makes a perfect non-alcoholic alternative to champagne or gin and tonic. Add fresh mint leaves and ginger slices for extra pizazz!

*Note:
Raw ACV is a live fermented pro-biotic beverage with digestive enhancing properties along with many vital minerals and trace elements.
